About Nadeem

Maria Nadeem is a NCCPA certified Physician Assistant from Tulsa, Oklahoma. She is interested in child and adolescent psychiatry but enjoys working with children and adults from all backgrounds and cultures. She loves spending time with her patients and helping them become the best version of themselves.

Growing up, she was always fascinated by human behavior. This led her to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from The University of Tulsa as a Gates Millennium Scholar. She was highlighted to represent TU’s culture and chosen to deliver a speech at the freshman convocation where she discussed the importance of mental wellness.

Having spent most of her time in Oklahoma, she knew she wanted to experience a different part of the US. She attended The University of Evansville’s PA Program in Evansville, Indiana and graduated with a Master of Physician Assistant Science. She immediately fell in love with her psychiatry rotation and could see herself connecting with patients regarding their mental health.

During her time away from work, she loves spending time with friends and family. She enjoys watching TV, baking, DIY projects, crafting, and traveling. She loves trying new cuisines and developing recipes focusing on nutrition. Whenever she is free, she likes reading up on topics and treatments to continue learning how she can best help her patients towards achieving their goals.
